In 1958, LTSchaefer began working in residential construction for a family-owned contracting firm in Lansing, MI. Larry started his own business in 1962. He worked in many aspects of home construction, including masonry, framing, roofing and trim work. This wide range of experience gives LTSchaefer, a strong, practical background in home building. Eric and Clint joined him in the business in the 1990s. During that time, they worked under his guidance and are now working together on taking LTSchaefer into the future.
Today, quality in custom home building is our specialty. We provide individualized attention to our customers, from designing plans to the final touches. Serving the DeWitt Tri-County communities since 1962, each generation continues our tradition of commitment to our customers.
